About the Role

The Operations team is a core part of the Auction business, made up of various functions; Yard and Imaging. All team members are responsible for ensuring processes within their department run efficiently and customer service excellence is maintained at all times.

As Operations Assistant, you will adhere to HSE requirements and ensure the smooth running of the yard operation through timely vehicle movements. Arranging and supporting the organisation and display of vehicles prior to the auction, you will drive vehicles through the auction as instructed by your line manager and assist in the manoeuvring of vehicles to provide a tidy and orderly appearance. Driving in a correct and proper manner, treating all vehicles with respect, you will help locate and move vehicles and ensure they are presented with appropriate paperwork, ready for the sale.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who has a calm, polite and courteous manner and who has the ability to drive a variety of vehicles with all types of ignition procedures and transmissions. It goes without saying that a full UK driving licence is essential, as is basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
