HR Advisor - Reading

Permanent - Up to GBP33,000 per annum plus benefits, including 30 days' holiday, up to 12% employer pension, CCVs etc.

CIPD qualified HR Advisor with expertise in dealing with Employee Relations cases is required by a leading public sector organisation based in Reading. The successful HR Advisor will support the HR Manager in managing Employee Relations cases, as well as providing first line support to senior stakeholders across the organisation. The HR Advisor will also work closely with the recruitment team to assist with the full employee lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience:

* 2-3 years' experience working as an HR Generalist.
* Experience overseeing Recruitment processes from start to finish, including screening candidates, interviewing, on-boarding and off-boarding.
* CIPD-Qualified (Level 5+).
* Exposure to coaching line managers on Employment Legislation, Policies and Procedures and HR best practice.
* Confident at dealing with Employee Relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries and absence management.
* Strong up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law. Should be able to interpret and apply this knowledge to a range of situations, and not just follow corporate policies.
* Proficient with HR systems and MS Excel; manipulation of MI and basic formulae.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate in a manner and using methods to suit the audience, including presentation skills.
