Sous Chef
We are recruiting for a Sous Chef who has the drive to enhance their own career. You should be passionate about fresh produce and be keen to learn more about new preparation and cooking techniques.
* Experience working with fresh ingredients cooking from scratch
* Drive and ambition to progress your career and develop junior team
* Confidence and ability to successfully lead a kitchen team in the Head Chefs absence
The role:
* Salary of up to GBP22,000 per annum with hour wage available
* Working with fresh food cooking from scratch
* Stepping up to lead the kitchen as required
* Mentoring and coaching junior team
* Catering for private function and events held throughout the year
* Cash and card tips in addition to annual salary
* 28 days Holiday a year
* Working in a buzzing fast paced kitchen
* Scholarship and training courses can be provided if wanted
* Opportunity for progression within the company
The establishment:
Our client is seeking a solid Sous Chef for a fresh food Gastro pub originally built in the mid-19th century. This establishment holds tradition close to its heart but thanks to a 2014 renovation the pub boasts superb modern facilities.
