THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client, an international leading company in manufacturing and distribution are looking for an experienced Internal Business Development Executive to join their Internal Sales team at their office in Rotherham.
This a brilliant opportunity for a hardworking, driven and determined individual who in return will receive extensive company benefits and a guaranteed stimulating, challenging and rewarding role.
If you have experience in Technical Sales, or International sales - this is a great role for you.
PROGRESSION:
As the role progresses, you will be given the opportunity to travel internationally to areas like: Europe, America and the Middle & Far East.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:
* Speaking with a range of international clients, covering the Europe, the Far East and America
* Developing new business leads via cold calling, referrals, social media, networking etc - 25%
* Contacting existing and lapsed clients - 75%
* Generating leads and booking appointments for the Regional Field Sales team to follow up
* Develop and actively manage sales pipeline
THE IDEAL PERSON FOR THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:
* Previous experience/ knowledge in technical sales or international sales
* Driven and determined individual.
* Ability to generate, and covert own business.
* Excellent customer service/ care skills.
* Competent in MS packages - Word, Excel and Outlook.
