Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will oversee and drive the definition, planning, direction and delivery of all projects delivering significant change, in accordance with both stakeholder and overall business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all aspects of the projects are fully defined to ensure stakeholder requirements are achieved in accordance with all business and commercial criteria, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the development and maintenance of overall project plans and budgets which will deliver to stakeholder and business needs, and that specific deadlines and milestones are agreed and communicated to all parties involved.
- Develop and maintain key relationships across all stakeholder levels, to facilitate the effective management of projects to meet stakeholder requirements, and play a leading role in the swift and effective resolution of major issues.
- Liaise with all functions relevant to the delivery of assigned project to build an integrated project team and to enable the achievement of project objectives.
- Develop, implement and continually review organisation and management structures and communication processes to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role including delivery of multiple large, complex projects of work
- Proven experience of third party management in relation to key suppliers, sub-contractors & stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of project management frameworks and governance approaches
- Significant experience of delivering success through effective management of project teams
- Advanced planning and organisational skills, able to delegate effectively and proactively identify obstacles
- Strong financial/cost management capability, including managing budgets, challenging costs & interpreting data.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology and experience of working in an agile development environment
- Good understanding of C# coding, so the job holder can understand the Developers work in progress
- Previous experience working in Financial Services, and/or in Legal Tech, with some understanding of the regulatory requirements
