Who we are looking for?

We are searching for a Night Concierge Worker to work within South Manchester. You will deliver a high quality service to Nacro Housing residents and be responsible for managing the safety and security of the building. This will be delivered through the provision of concierge services, security and door control. The role is fixed term until March 2019.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Act as an initial point of reference for Nacro service users and external agencies while on duty.
• Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the housing service and respond to faults as discovered.
• Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
• Carry out domestic tasks (cleaning communal areas) to a high standard ensuring that the immediate environment of the service user in relation to service provision is well maintained, clean, and tidy and assessed for any fire and health and safety risks. This should be achieved by taking appropriate follow up action directly or through the relevant third party.
• Advise management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about service users.

The Night Concierge Worker will work a rolling rota with a work pattern of 3 or 4 days on duty. This will include working some weekends.

The hours of work are 20.00 - 00.00. Sleep in. Then 07:00 to 8.30 for a full hand over. Cover would be required 365 days per year.
