Financial Controller - Events business

Financial Controller Opportunity:

• An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Financial Controller to join a pre-opening team of an exciting hospitality development.
• Tasked with the creation of structures and procedures ahead of opening, you will work closely in conjunction with the HO finance team and General Manager to steer the finance operation to be fully operational.
• Wide ranging and multi-faceted in size as Financial Controller will be offering commercial support across the site guiding the team towards delivering cost effective practices and strategy.

The Employer:

• A multi-faceted hospitality operation that offers a range of food/beverage elements to its guests.
• A seven day a week operation, that is heavily utilised at weekends and evenings.

The Essential Skills of the Financial Controller:

• Qualified accountant with at least 2/3 years commercial Hospitality experience (Hotels/ Restaurants etc.)
• High numeric and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven financial and commercial acumen
• Strong, dynamic team player
• People Management experience
• Previous commercial finance experience of improving business results and adding value
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and support as required
• An excellent communicator who can engage with individuals at all levels.

Financial Controller Package

• A salary of IRO of GBP45'000 per annum
