Are you unsure of how to get your "foot in the door" and into a classroom?

At Academics we have a brand new Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme that will give you the experience you need in brilliant Primary Schools in Sutton!

Academics are seeking Graduates to join their team of voluntary Teaching Assistants to start immediately!

Working across Sutton Primary Schools Graduates will be able to work in class and gain valuable experience and a credible child related reference.

This is a great stepping stone into finding a long term Teaching Assistant role. Working in some fantastic Primary Schools which offer experience and an in-sight into the classroom this is a 5 day programme you shouldn't miss!!

To be considered:

To be considered you will need to have a minimum of an Undergraduate Degree and be a passionate candidate looking to go into Teacher training in the future. Being located within Sutton or within a borough in close proximity will also be a huge advantage.

About the voluntary programme:

We are currently working with a selection of Primary Schools that have joined us this academic year. These Schools range from 1 for to 2 form entry and are "Good" or "Outstanding" in their Ofsted reports.

Head Teachers are seeking voluntary Graduates to be Teaching Assistants for 5 days. These 5 days can be over 1 week or split once a week over a 5 week period. Being integrated into the classroom a Graduate will be able to experience how a classroom runs and importantly can gain invaluable experience working with children.

As a Graduate you can work in one School or build up your experience in multiple before stepping into a long term TA position. There are placements within this scheme across Nursery to Year 6 classes!
