Insurance Advisor
Salary GBP17,000
Hours Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30
Main Duties Insurance Advisor
- Demonstrate technical knowledge for personal lines insurances
- Liaise with client, insurer and specialists for claims resolution
- Maintain records using in-house systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Carry out midterm adjustments.
- Process new business applications.
- Source appropriate quotes
Qualifications and experience required for this role
- Personal lines insurance experience
- Experience of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Confident working at all levels - director level, insurers, clients
- Excellent and professional telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative
- Accountability, flexibility and teamwork
- Experience of SSP Pure system extremely helpful
Our client is an established business that started trading in 1986.
Working within a small team the role will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of long- standing clients, which will include day to day client contact, dealing with renewals, new business, mid-term adjustments and delivering a first-class customer service. May be required to attend Motor and Classic Car Shows on occasions as required.
