Our client is an award-winning publisher of magazines, regional news & email service. They have a vacancy for an confident and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to be a part of the growth story in the division.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
* Full UK drivers license
* Good local area knowlege
* A Strong business development background within a similar industry,print, media/digital B2B services etc
* Field sales experience - generating own sales pipeline.
* A Strong track record of consistently achieving sales targets and increasing revenue.
* A CV that clearly demonstrates B2B sales success within recent roles.
* Excellent sales and presentation skills to Board Director and Senior Management.
* The ability to demonstrate progression.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* 360 Sales cycle to closure of deal
* Take autonomy in arranging own client meetings and diary.
* consultative sales approach to understand clients business and future.
* Develop a current sales territory, to increase revenues from existing clients and secure support from new clients.
* Presenting solution to client based on their requirements.
* Secure advertising, sponsorship and leaflet revenues for the magazines, sponsorship for our range of events, and banner advertising and sponsorship of our range of online products.
* Take new products to the market when they are launched
