We are looking for an individual who has a combined knowledge of utility (energy and water) billing, utility legislations, analytics and math's to add value to utility data. The role requires to use strong business acumen, as well as an ability to mine vast amount of data to identify utility savings opportunities and communicate findings, provide monitoring, targeting and verification services to clients.

This is a permanent role within our Solutions team. The Solutions team is a very talented and focused team which manages delivery of utility management solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. The team comprises Chartered Engineers and Chartered Energy Managers and we can call upon 20 engineers and 8 analysts located across the UK. This is a perfect opportunity for you to get into energy and water consultancy and learn from senior analysts. We will be looking for someone who is eager to learn and have good project management skills. The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate understanding in the UK utility legislation and how legislation changes will affect the total cost of energy and water.

Main Responsibilities

To Project manage delivery of multiple Cost Analysis and implementation contracts

* Extract and manage data from multiple data sources

* Proactively support the acquisition of appropriate data

* Identification of utility saving opportunities through data analysis

* Investigate potential opportunities to confirm viability & validity

* Produce clear documents recommending all potential opportunities

* Support senior analysts in presenting project work and attend client meetings and communicate findings

* Proactively provide insights and feedback to influence clients to take actions

* Ensure all activities through identification, investigation and implementation are logged in the system

* Engage with clients and suppliers/third parties to ensure opportunities are implemented with the agreed timeframes

* Support internal billing and financial forecasting

* Actively resolve client issues

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

* University graduate who can combine their academic experience in STEM related subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics), with 1st or 2.1 level

* Working knowledge of UK utility legislations

* Experience of working in some parts of the Utility industry

* Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Successful candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

* Attention to details

* Good presentation and communication skills

* Previous experience of using analytics to demonstrate changes
