Overview
CHP is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association based in Chelmsford, Essex and was named one of the top 25 housing associations to work for in the Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations 2018.
In this role you will use your experience of leading and developing people and detailed understanding of Health and Safety in relation to properties to manage external contractors and allocate work to CHP employees to achieve the delivery of our cyclical servicing and maintenance heating contract.
With an HNC/HND in a construction related discipline and an excellent level of knowledge of building construction, standards, and legislation, you will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliancy across all fuel types.
Access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential, for which a business mileage rate will be paid. Experience of property asset management/property management of a complex and varied portfolio would be advantageous.
A car allowance of £1,056 per annum will be paid in addition to the annual salary. A business mileage rate for duties relating to CHP business will also be applied.
