WORKING HOURS: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 3.00pm Friday
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Botolph Claydon, Buckinghamshire is a manufacturer and distributor of laboratory reagents, test kits and quality control reagents for the Clinical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Water sectors. They are a family run business who have been established for over 50 years.
As well as priding themselves on the work they do they are also very proud of their low staff turnover and providing a comfortable and happy workplace. They are now looking to recruit a Research Assistant to join their committed team.
THE ROLE: We are seeking an individual with basic laboratory skills to take on the role of Research Technician. This really is an exciting opportunity for somebody with an interest in science to work for a well established company and learn whilst working.
You will work alongside the Research and Development Scientist in the fields of Microbiology, Parasitology and Biochemistry for new product development and refinement of existing products and manufacturing methods.
Full training will be provided, so no previous experience is necessary. There is also the possibility for the right candidate to undertake further training / education in Science to enhance their career within the company.
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Research Atechnician we are looking for a bright enthusiastic
individual with an interest in the sciences that has a hunger to learn. Although not mandatory, previous laboratory experience would be an advantage.
It is essential that you have your own transport due to the location of the role and it is also essential that you have achieved an A level in Science to be considered for this role.
Key experience essential for the Research Technician role:
• Achieved an A Level in Science
• Access to your own transport due to location of the role is essential
• Live within a commutable distance of Botolph Claydon, Buckinghamshire
