An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Multi Skilled Operative based in Tonbridge.

Within the role you will be responsible for completing kitchen and/or bathroom installs and any void repairs to the housing stock as required by our client.

Liaising with the Mears Contracts Manager and RLO, installing kitchens and/or bathrooms and to complete all void works as required. This could include anything from plastering, decorating, door replacement, glazing, flooring and all associated void repairs, whilst ensuring the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently. You will complete the works to a high-quality standard and within a time frame, in order to maximise first time fix criteria.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be, multi skilled in Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting. You should have relevant trade qualification or 5 years’ experience in 3 or more trades, Plumbing, Carpentry, Wet trades i.e. plastering/tiling etc. Experience within social housing is also essential and you should be familiar with using a PDA.

With strong time management skills, the Multi Skilled Operative will have experience of preparing all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades alongside job coding and costing. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the ability to succeed.

Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving license
