* To create and secure new business opportunities for Raytheon UK's C&I business in the UK and internationally within the defence intelligence and cyber security markets * To have the appropriate relationships, and depth of understanding of our customers, their stakeholders, and the relevant technologies to develop strategies for growing the business: to then execute these strategies to deliver new business growth to the organisation. * To be the Key Account Manager for relationships with the Intelligence Communities within C&! target markets. * To act as primary poc for Raytheon IIS for all mutual BD and strategy initiatives * To act as line manager for all C&I BD, strategy and capture management staff * Reporting to the Managing Director of Raytheon UK C&I business, and functionally reporting to the Raytheon UK Strategy and BD Director, * Develop, execute and maintain the C&I market strategy for UK Government stakeholders, the intelligence community and MOD (and supporting partners) based on robust market and competitive intelligence * Create and develop 5 year booking pipeline plan that delivers growth with the focus on new business from existing and new customers * Provide and manage bookings and NBI input to the C&I Annual Operating Plan * Meet or exceed AOP bookings targets * Manage all C&I capture activities including review of win, bid and closure campaigns / strategies * Develop and maintain relevant customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure that Raytheon is well positioned to secure new business opportunities through p ositioning of RSL as a thought leader in cyber security and defence intelligence utilising: a) Preparation and delivery of presentations and papers to customers and key stakeholders; b) Media interviews; c) Input to relevant Select Committees, Consultations etc; d) Where appropriate the creation of white papers * Provide career development direction and guidance to all C&I BD, strategy and capture management staff * Ensure that all C&I business capture activities adhere to Raytheon policies and procedures * As part of the Business Development and Marketing team, contribute to the continuous improvement of the Business Development function and the UK business as a whole. Essential Experience: * Clear understanding of defence intelligence and cyber security market sectors (government and commercial), industrial players and market drivers * Experience of dealing with relevant UK customer acquisition processes * Proven ability to develop market strategies and create opportunities * Demonstrable track record of meeting business capture targets and/or securing business as a capture leader Desirable Experience: * Holder of relevant / DV security clearances (if not held, the candidate must be prepared to apply for them) * Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline. * Previous Business Development experience in a defence intelligence and cyber security business Personal Attributes: * Ability to establish and nurture customer trust * Creative and entrepreneurial approach * Commercial awareness - able to manage and work within agreed customer and business budgets * Proactive team member and virtual team leader who can motivate and lead by example * Intuitive risks and opportunities management * Strong communicator (verbal and Written) including at board level * A logical problem solver who can distil and simplify complex operational and technical problems
