Travel Insurance Sales Agent

Our client, an established Travel Insurance provider with offices based locally in Southend, are looking for confident and energetic people to join their Inbound Sales team.

As an Inbound Sales agent you will be taking calls from customers and assisting them to purchase their travel insurance. You will be answering any questions and generally helping them through the process so that you can ensure that they are fully covered for their planned trips and holidays. You must be PC literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and ideally live locally to Southend.

This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. There is a variety of 7.5 hour shifts on a 6 week rolling rota basis, between the hours of 8:00am - 6:30pm. As customers still need help and advise at the weekends and Bank Holidays, you will be required to work no more than 4 weekend days out of 12 and never more than 2 Bank Holidays.

The Starting salary is GBP15,500 per annum. In addition to your basic pay you can work towards a performance related bonus of up to GBP350 per month (GBP4200 a year)

Compulsory training will commence on 5th November 2018 and you will be expected to fully commit to a 6 week training course, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
