Customer service is a priority at Bearing Source. The position is vital in supplying our customers with an efficient and highly competitive service with every order.
We supply customers, nationwide from our Liverpool head office & soon to be opened Warrington site with a range of industrial & engineering consumables such as bearings, belt & chain drives, oil seals and ancillaries on a time-critical, 24 hour, 365-day basis.
Our customers can be demanding and we need to respond accordingly, arranging same day deliveries, site visits and round the clock assistance, we’re looking for someone with customer service experience, preferably with an industrial engineering/MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) background, ideally with experience of the products we supply; bearings, seals and power transmission components.
The role is quite varied and there aren't too many dull moments! Working with our existing team we would expect assistance with the following duties:
> Receiving & processing enquiries from new & existing clients.
> Preparation of quotes, invoices &; purchase orders quickly and efficiently on our accounting software package (Xero).
> Assistance with our 24 hour call out facility and Saturday mornings on a rota.
> Maintaining and developing long-term relationships with our client base.
> Stock management and administration
> Preparation, organisation and delivery of goods to clients.
> Reporting to and assisting the Managing Director.
> The ability to work independently to strict deadlines
> A clean driving licence would be ideal.
