LGV 2 (Category C) Vehicle Driver 

Reporting to: Transport Manager

Location: Wholesale Fruit Centre, Bessemer Road, Cardiff, CF11 8PD

Hours: Full Time — early starts — 40 hours per week rostered over 6 days with a day off in the week

Salary: Up to £10 per hour based on weekly shift patterns and rest days.

We supply restaurants, hotels, schools, colleges and other food outlets with our portfolio of products and we are looking for someone who shares in our passion of building a market leading company to join our team. 

The Position/Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an approachable responsible delivery driver to distribute orders to our customers. You will be expected to represent our company in a professional manner at all times. The job requires that you assist in the loading of your vehicle upon site and to ensure that your load is correct prior to leaving the Depot.

As a delivery driver you will be expected to offload your vehicle at customer's premises and you may be required to be trusted with keys and clear instructions on where to leave the goods. You will also be required to collect payments when necessary and obtain signatures for deliveries whenever required. 

Skills and Key Attributes:

• A valid full UK LGV 2 (CAT C) Driving Licence
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set out by the company

• Work within BRC guidelines (would be discussed at interview)
