Learning Support Specialist (Teaching Role)

Salary: £18.57 per hour

Hours: Variable hours over 38 weeks

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a proactive, caring and professional person to provide 1:1 or small group study skills support to learners with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and autistic spectrum, supporting their literacy, numeracy, organisational skills etc.

You will be working as part of an outstanding cross-college team of Learning Support Specialists, in-class Learning Assistants and SpLD Assessors.

This role will require you to work closely with tutors and subject lecturers to help leaners succeed on their main programme of study.

This is an exciting, challenging and varied role that will suit an experienced
professional who is able to work on their own initiative as well as being a highly proactive team player.
