Electronics Test Technician
This market leading supplier to the Automotive Industry have been established for over 50 years. Due to increased workload they have a new opportunity for a permanent Electronics Test Technician to join the business. The position offers an attractive salary with fabulous working hours and opportunities for progression.
As an Electronics Test Technician, your role will involve the following:
* Examination and report on customer returned hardware
* Product audit of both Starters and Alternators, involving strip down of main assemblies
* Sub-assembly audits
* Electronics manufacturing process audits
* Product testing to electrical specifications
To be a successful Electronics Test Technician you will require the following
* Technician background in both assembly and test
* Relevant electronics/electrical qualification
* Experience with starter motors and alternators is essential
* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
* Conducting audits in manufacturing process and sub assembly
* Proficient in the use of Word & Excel
In return the Electrical Technician will receive the following
* GBP20,000 - GBP25,000
* 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Contributory pension scheme
* 5 hour working week (M-W 7.30am to 4.30pm, Thurs 7.30am to 4pm Friday 7.30am to 12pm)
* Free parking on site
* Full training and development
