Electrical Engineer - Design Experience Required - Lancashire - Permanent - GBP30-38k + overtime with flexitime system in place
Samuel Frank Associates is working exclusively with a multi-disciplinary Engineering business in Lancashire and we now have a requirement for an Electrical Design Engineer.
The client is open to specific design package experience and is open to considering applicants with knowledge of any of the widely used CAD packages such as AutoCAD, EPLAN or Promis-E.
The client is very well established with a growth plan in place to service an increasing amount of work from current customers as well as delivering projects for an expanding base of new customers. The client offers a friendly, supportive working environment where Engineers stay for many years as well as being known as a reputable and professional.
On top of the basic salary the client will pay overtime for every hour worked over 40 per week. They also have a flexitime system in place where the Engineer can accrue time off in lieu.
Commercial knowledge/experience could have come from working in the water treatment sector, chemical or other process based industries but the client is open to any sector experience. The role, as you'd expect will include full project life cycle duties including site based survey work. The role will be predominantly based in the design office though.
Applicants will ideally be qualified to HNC level or above, or have completed an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or similar. The client is also looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has good attention to detail and can work alone and/or as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential. You will need to be customer facing as you will be expected to work on client site and deal with customers face to face.
The client is based is East Lancashire and is easily commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Heywood, Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Darwen and Bolton.
