Group Reporting Manager

A fantastic to join a progressive market leading business, as Group Reporting Manager, covering maternity for a period of 6-9 months initially.

Our client, a market leader in its chosen field, are looking to recruit an interim Group Reporting Manager to cover for maternity for a minimum period of 6-9 months. The role will be based out of their Hertfordshire headquarters.

Group Reporting Manager
Group statutory accounts

• Supervise production of consolidation and group adjustments (extended trial balance) in IFRS

• Supervise production of group accounts in Word, including pushing through the restatement & disclosures for IFRS 15 (data will be provided)

• Supervise group audit and quality control the evidence being given to KPMG

• Escalation point for subsidiary audits

• Maintain finance policies and update for IFRS 16 / any other major changes

Analysis of historical actual results

• Create proforma balance sheets, ensuring comparability across years for multiple layers of adjustments

• Explain variances on the proforma accounts

Project work

• Important member of end to end IFRS 16 project (incl Project manager, R2R members and Commercial finance)

• Close off the project for local GAAP and tax implications of IFRS 15 (along with commercial finance, tax team and local teams)

• Any other ad hoc changes, including continuous improvement

• Participate in governance calls for accounting team, agreeing actions for them to implement to manage risks & issues

Candidate skills & experience required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Minimum 3 years post qualified experience
• Group reporting experience, and IFRS knowledge
• Strong systems skills including advanced Excel
