Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Location: South Wales (Bridgend)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Business Advisers form key elements for Business Wales service that provides first class business support to Welsh SMEs on behalf of the Welsh Government, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by Growth Partnership Wales (GPW), a partnership of Business in Focus, Antur Teifi and Peninsula Enterprise (PE).

Business Advisers will work with “Growth” businesses to assist in their development to overcome specific barriers they are experiencing either as “Start ups” or if they are already trading. It is essential for the successful candidate to have knowledge of complex business plans, have run their own business or managed at a senior level. Business Advisers will work directly with clients on a 1-2-1 basis to identify key issues that they can assist the client with either directly or through support of their private and public networks.

Some of the key attributes that the Business Adviser will possess are:

• Ability to utilize experience and knowledge to identify barriers to growth
• Can deliver or assist in workshops and seminars that will assist growth businesses develop their knowledge and skills
• Project plan specific support for clients in a timely and relevant manner
• Strong ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
• A driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential for this position.

Mae Ymgynghorwyr Busnes yn elfennau allweddol ar gyfer gwasanaeth Busnes Cymru sy’n darparu cymorth busnes o’r radd flaenaf i fentrau bach a chanolig yng Nghymru ar ran Llywodraeth Cymru, a ariennir gan Gronfa Datblygu Rhanbarthol Ewrop ac sy’n cael ei ddarparu gan Partneriaeth Twf Cymru (GPW), partneriaeth rhwng Business in Focus, Antur Teifi a Peninsula Enterprise (PE).

Bydd Ymgynghorwyr Busnes yn gweithio gyda busnesau “Twf” er mwyn eu cynorthwyo i ddatblygu ar gyfer goresgyn rhwystrau penodol y maen nhw’n eu profi fel “Busnes Newydd” neu os ydynt yn masnachu yn barod. Mae’n hanfodol bod yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn adnabod cynlluniau busnes cymhleth, wedi rhedeg busnes ei hun neu wedi rheoli busnes mewn rôl uwch. Bydd Ymgynghorwyr Busnes yn gweithio’n uniongyrchol gyda chwsmeriaid, mewn sefyllfaeodd un i un, er mwyn adnabod materion allweddol byddynt yn gallu helpu’r cwsmer gyda, un ai yn uniongyrchol neu trwy ddarparu cymorth trwy eu rhwydweithiau preifat neu cyhoeddus.

• Gallu cynllunio prosiect cymorth sbesifig ar gyfer cwsmeriaid mewn ffordd amserol a pherthnasol
• Medr cryf i rhyngweithio’n effeithiol â phobl ar bob lefel
• Mae trwydded yrru a’r defnydd o gerbyd eich hun yn hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd hon.
