Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Train and lead staff
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
The use of data is becoming more and more important to our clients. To meet this growing demand, we are significantly investing in our practice to offer a wide range of data-related services, from data governance and data quality, through to strategy development, visualisation and advanced modelling and analytics.
We are currently looking for an experienced data practitioner to join our fast growing Data & Analytics in Assurance (DAA) team. We have ambitious plans and are looking for individuals who can develop and build our go-to-market propositions and excel in client delivery.

Our DAA team work with clients to deliver crucial insight through data analytics, advanced modelling and data visualisation. We also help our clients to establish the right controls, processes and structures to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information. We often assure that information and data provided to regulators and third parties is accurate, complete and can be trusted.

About the role

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our DAA team. People with the right blend of hands-on data experience, an eye for innovation to help us build client offerings and an understanding of the markets in which we work.
Responsibilities
Our London Top Tier (LTT) team, provide assurance and specialist advisory services to many of the UK's most successful non-financial sector corporates including delivering the audits of around 20 of the FTSE 100.
Within LTT, our Data Assurance team provide a wide range of solutions to our clients including telecommunications, oil and gas, entertainment and media and retail and consumer. We've experienced double digit growth in the last five years and are forecasting for this continue so it's a great time to join us.
As a member of the DAA team in LTT you will be responsible for
Be an active member of the team on client-facing project work, being self-starting and motivated to produce the required high standard of deliverables
Owning and delivering the data analysis work on a portfolio of audit clients
Supporting our Data Assurance propositions and delivery methodologies
Assisting business development activities through working on bids and proposal responses
Establishing credibility both internally and externally through your knowledge, approach, and professionalism
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or demonstrable experience working with Data
A technical background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar
Demonstrable ability in at least some of the following areas Data Analytics, SQL and data manipulation, Data quality and cleansing techniques, understanding of the principles of data governance, Advanced MS Excel, Access, ACL and accounting
Knowledge of database and ETL technologies
Experience of using data analytics and visualisation products and technologies (such as Tableau, Spotfire and, in particular, Qlikview)
Experience of business analysis tasks and approaches
Thorough knowledge and understanding of performing on project teams and providing deliverables
Ability to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships and understand the client's business
Project management skills in relation to data management projects, including developing project plans, budgets and deliverables schedules
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
Ability to develop new ideas into structured, deliverable projects
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, including communication with stakeholders of a non-data background
Excellent presentation and report writing skills
