We are looking for a talented, forward thinking and focused senior manager to head up our ATEX and Electrical Services business unit at Z-Tech. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a great team who are successfully delivering to our clients across the WATER and POWER INDUSTRIES.

Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, you will be responsible for delivery of the Business Unit strategy and shaping the future direction.

Your team of up to six direct reports are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations - you will help to solve their problems, remove obstacles, coach and develop them. It is important that you value people and have the ability to recognise and develop their strengths. You will lead business development for the Business Unit by being able to form close relationships at a senior level with our key customers and take a lead in any major Business Unit bids or tenders.

Working closely with the CFO and the finance team, you will have full control of all aspects of finance and be responsible for setting and delivering to an annual budget. Previous budget control is essential. Financial reporting and forecasting is completed monthly and you will make regular presentations to the Board which also includes progress against strategic objectives.

Ideally we are looking for people who can demonstrate experience in a similar role or, with the appropriate talents and drive who is ready for the next step in their career.

Whilst knowledge of the WATER or POWER INDUSTRIES is desirable, demonstrating operational management experience in a fast paced and changing environment is equally valued.

Please send a two-page CV and covering letter to explain how you fit with our COMPANY VALUES to Charlotte in our careers team before 30 September 2018. Our selection process will include two rounds of interviews held at our Cambridge office, the second of which will require you to make a short presentation.
