An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Night Manager to join us, based in Salford.

Working under the supervision and direction of the Accommodation Manager, you will have responsibility for the operations and security of the residence outside of office hours.

You will work in conjunction with the other Night Management staff and the office team to provide a continuous exceptional 24 hour service to our residents.

You will also be responsible for health and safety compliance, security of the site, minor repairs, light cleaning duties and dealing with any potential anti-social behaviour. The role will also provide a key role in completion of office related administrative duties to support the office team particularly during peak periods within the year.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have 3 years’ experience of working in a customer server focused environment within a hospitality, residential accommodation or security industry.

With strong communication skills, you will have the ability to write and speak in fluent English and will have an understanding of UK health and safety rules and regulations.

Our ideal candidate will be able to deal with challenging situations swiftly in a calm and reasoned manner, will be capable of working alone, follow instruction and use own initiative when required.

Due to the nature of this role, you should be familiar with manual handling tasks and will be capable of lifting and moving heavy items.  The ability to work nights and conduct shift work is also important.

Familiarity with IT systems, especially email and Microsoft Word, is essential.
