Children's Residential Support Worker (Temp to perm)

My name is Regan and I am recruiting for an amazing team of temporary staff to work lots of hours, weekends, nights, days.. just have SO much work!

We have a wonderful opportunity for you to test the water in this amazing temp to perm role in which you can see if it is right for you within 12 weeks.

Each of the homes we supply to is ran as if it is it`s own island. On this island you will be been supported by a warm and nurturing team of staff, which include staff members who have been there forever and also new team members.. could make a difference!

This setting supports children and young adults aged 9-19 years with severe complex learning and behavioural needs including conditions such as autism and pathological demand avoidance syndrome (PDA). They offer residential placements between 38-52 weeks as well as an education day provision to students from neighbouring local authorities.

This job not for the faint hearted as you will be empowered to work with some of the most challenging young people. You will be trained and helped to support each of the young people with their mental health conditions. You will be encouraging the young people to achieve their personal goals and you will be instrumental in providing them with the support network they deserve in overcoming their self harm issues.

Your personality is key to the success of the service. If you have a sense of humour, don`t take things personally and generally have a positive out look then I want to hear from you.

All you`ll need is one years of care experience and a QCF Level 3 in Children and young people or the equivalent.

For you skills and your dedication you will get paid hourly and weekly.. upon how far you have to travel
