An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Designer within this leading global designer and manufacturer of retail point of sale solutions based in Leicestershire.
THE ROLE
As the Development Designer up you will be required to design and support projects at a hands on level within the team. You will support the Middleweight Designers providing excellent project and development skills. You will be responsible for supporting projects from cradle to grave ensuring the clients brief is cost analysed and has the ability to be manufactured with the project scope.
THE CANDIDATE
To succeed in the role of Development Designer the Successful candidate will require experience of product design or design for manufacture. Ideally you will have experience of designing using plastics, Mouldings and sheet metal, as well as other materials. It is important that you have good design for manufacture and creative design skills along with the ability to run your own projects.
