A successful and well-established manufacturing company wish to recruit a Junior Quality Engineer to work at their production site.
The successful candidate will become a key member of staff within the Quality Department and would help maintain their ISO accreditation's. Assisting with data collection and analysis, internal audits, implementation and control of documentation, training staff members in quality procedures as well as quality support for the design and manufacture of product.
Key Responsibilities:
We're looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and self-motivated and will help deliver a quality product and service.
* Maintain quality procedures and implement them within the company
* Create quality documentation including control plans and work instructions
* Carry out internal audits on both the ISO9001 QMS and ISO13485 QMS
* Collect and analyse production data
* Investigate root causes relating to product defects and implement corrective actions
* Train members of staff in relation to the quality system and procedures
* Carry out incoming inspection and production patrol inspection
* Perform Gauge R&R studies
About you:
* An enthusiastic person who wants to grow and progress in a role
* Must be competent with Excel
* Familiarity with document management, internal auditing and supplier assessment
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of ISO9001
* The ability to analyse data and information, find a root cause and develop corrective actions
* Knowledge of ISO13485 and experience using minitab would be an advantage
This role ideally requires at least 1 year's previous experience in a QA role, however, for the right individual training will be given in any necessary areas and career progression opportunities will exist as the business continues to expand.
The role is working Mon -Fri with a salary of GBP22-GBP25k dependent upon experience, please apply online for consideration and further details.
