TeacherActive require a Teaching Assistant experienced in working with challenging students to work for a SEND school in the Newton Abbot area catering for a variety of needs.
The post will be working across Key Stages 1 to 4 to support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups in a school for students with ASD and SEMH.

The suitable Teaching Assistant must also be able to ensure students' personal care needs are met. A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care and/or experience of providing care and support to children with special needs would be advantageous.
As a Teaching Assistant within this school you will be responsible for supporting children with their education and learning in a classroom environment whilst also providing them with care and support to meet their health needs.
