We have immediate vacancies for permanent shift electricians to join our team in Skelmersdale at our newly commissioned papermill following a multi-million pound investment, where we produce tissue paper for some of our market leading brands such as Cushelle and Plenty. Interested?
These are local opportunities to work for Essity - a global hygiene and health company. With a 24/7 production schedule, you will work on a rotating shift pattern of two days, two nights followed by six days off. As a Shift Electrical & Instrumentation Technician you will use your technical expertise and knowledge to maintain and improve the day to day operational efficiency of our machinery. Carrying out both predictive and reactive work you will work both independently and as part of a shift team. You will ideally bring with you experience of PLC's, ABB controlled equipment, drives, process instrumentation together with a 'fix it for good' mentality. You will also need to be comfortable in working with large scale plant and machinery and have a passion for safety.
