Part Time Business Support Administrator
TVP, Reading/London
Contract is until June 2019 initially

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Business Support Administrator. This is a contract role based in Thames Valley Park, Reading (Director in London Paddington) for 18 months. This is a Part Time role of 20 hours a week.

Salary: £12 - £14 per hour, based on experience, plus 5% end of contract bonus and annual leave.

Job Description
In this role you will support the CSG lead in day to day engagements, diary management, travel, meetings, events - customers & internal (EBCs Redmond, orchestrating speakers, Roundtables, seminar support etc).

You will:
" Provide excellent administration support to the senior staff member
" Contribute to smooth day-to-day running of the senior staff member's team/s by providing timely and effective administrative assistance.
" Act as an essential group point of contact both internally and externally, demonstrating proactively and professionalism in all activities undertaken.
" Seek to improve existing administrative processes on behalf of the group.
" Ensure smooth and seamless integration and management of the Manager's team, applying proactively, initiative, discretion and confidentiality to all tasks.

A typical day in this role can include:
" Diary management and general Manager support
" Provides high level administration support to the senior staff member's team in an effective, timely and professional manner, including:
o Scheduling and co-ordination of meetings/offsites, including logistics, catering etc.
o Delivering high quality and timely responses to incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence.
o Assisting with preparation of presentations, reports and correspondence from draft.
o Photocopying, faxing, updating and monitoring systems/docs, dealing with courier requests, collection and distribution of mail.
o Ownership of internal processes, including Company Market - creating Purchase Orders, tracking invoices, ordering Hardware/Software/Procurement and Samples.
o Responsible for assisting new starters.

" All travel itineraries to be identified and arrangements made well in advance with all visa requirements, currency, hotels, transfers etc.
" To provide administrative assistance to ad hoc Group projects, where appropriate.
" Assisting with ad hoc projects on behalf of Managers as and when required

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
" Experience in operating at a PA level in a large Corporate-preferably IT-environment.
" Knowledge at an intermediate level of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
" 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Mathematics and English
