We are looking to recruit a Customer Engagement Manager for a Global IT Client. This is a contract role based in Thames Valley Park, Reading until June 30th 2019, but most of the time will be spent with customers across the UK (including Scotland).
Our company aspires to help our customers achieve their own device led digital transformation, leveraging the power of our tablet portfolio. In this role you will help customers deploy and get the full value from their investment in our tablets.
Person specification
- Experience with engaging with BDMs & IT departments
- Technical knowledge - the role is a level 200-300 technical role. Top of the list would be knowledge of OS updates.
- Ideally, someone who understands the fundamentals of how devices are built and can talk confidently about the potential pitfalls of deployment.
- Experience in IT consulting, management or support.
- Experience in both consulting and post-sales is ideal.
- Proven ability to map the customer's business process to product capability.
- Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred - Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Manufacturing and Distribution.
Customer Engagement Manager role
The CEM role will collaboratively drive deployment and adoption activities with key IT Decision Makers, help reduce implementation risk and drive usage.
The CEM is a key part of our customer facing sales teams.
The Customer Engagement Manager role will enable our customers to realise business value from their investment and make our customers passionate advocates of our company.
A typical day in this role can include:
- Creating value for customers by ensuring they clearly define business outcomes and then build a "success plan" with the appropriately identified objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks and metrics needed to achieve them.
- Be accountable to drive seamless end-user roll-out of our tablet devices through the creation and execution of a thorough and action-oriented roll-out plan.
- Be the single point of escalation for all large customers in their post purchase experience.
- Leverage deep technical expertise to help the customer apply their existing IT infrastructure to the tablet devices.
- Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with Business
- Decision Makers (BDMs) and IT Decision Makers (ITDMs) within each customer to influence adoption, create strong support for portfolio expansion and to secure their willingness to advocate on our company's behalf.
- Build/maintain rapid channel of communication to customer in preparation of urgent escalations.
