Offering pioneering security solutions across the globe, Securitas specialises in ensuring customers’ safety, protection and peace of mind. We have a strong focus on learning and development and offer a range of training opportunities to help our staff realise their full potential and become leaders in their field.

In this varied role, you will have the chance to support the smooth running of a busy university and broaden your skill-set in an exciting environment.

As a Security and Facilities Officer, you will provide a positive, professional and approachable security service across university sites. You will also assist with basic maintenance activities to support the upkeep of university buildings.

Specifically, you will:

- Respond to queries from staff, students, contractors and visitors
- Lock and unlock premises
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any incidents and alarms
- Carry out health and safety checks
- Assist with student welfare issues
- Patrol campus grounds including car parks

Ideally, you will have security experience, but this is not essential. First Aid and/or CCTV qualifications would also be beneficial, however this is not essential, as training will be provided. It would also be beneficial for you to hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle to travel between sites.
