Our client is a North West based housing group who has an opportunity for a Supervisor to work on an external contract covering repairs and maintenance projects in the Wirral and North Wales areas. The majority of their work is within the North West and North Wales area with a head office in Greater Manchester. Our client have contracts due to start in the next few weeks therefore are looking for an experienced Supervisor with a proven track record in social housing repairs and maintenance work to join their already established team.
With a proactive approach to working with customers and a passion to make a difference, this clients success is attributed to a continued commitment to effectively manage projects to a high standard- on time delivery, within budget and continually communicating progress to their clients.
Successful candidates will be locally based with experience of repairs and maintenance.
You will be asked to have a proactive role in management of onsite safety, working to budgets and effectively working with the customer. You must have good communication skills and be able to develop first-class client relationships. In addition, successful candidates will ideally have:
* SSSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS
* Asbestos Management 2 day
* Available references
Roles and responsibilities will include???
* Attending site progress meetings
* Liaising with clients and their representative
* Ensure all works are signed off by the client
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Produce method statements and risk assessment
* On time, in budget,
* Produce QA reports on final completion alongside Health and Safety File.
