Injection Moulding Setter

This global manufacturer of plastics is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter for their state-of-the-art facility in Shropshire to set-up and process injection moulding orders, working on a Double-Days shift (one week of earlies, one week of lates)

As Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include -

* Setting up moulds, and installing them
* Sampling moulds: Setting-up machine operating parameters from scratch to process parts to specifications. Record process specifications onto setting sheets
* Production moulds: Set-up machine operating parameters from established setting sheets. Process parts to specifications
* Inspection of parts
* Troubleshoot and correct process problems at the press
* Perform and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
* Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal Candidate -

* Must have previous experience within injection moulding
* Will have knowledge of a range of materials
* Will be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
* Ideally have a forklift or overhead crane license
