FOOD BUYING CATEGORY MANAGER - WEST LONDON - FTSE 100 FOODS AND BEVERAGE MANUFACTURER - GBP45K - GBP65K + EXCELLENT PACKAGE
This FTSE Listed food and beverage manufacturer is globally renowned and will offer you a great brand on your CV. Not only will you be joining a blue chip company but you will be given challenging tasks in a truly fast paced environment.
This company very rarely offers the opportunity to join their procurement division at this level, however due to an internal promotion and a challenging workload; they are looking to attract the best procurement staff from their competitors to join their award winning team. Looking for individuals who thrive under pressure and can instil best in class procurement processes, you must have the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and possess the negotiation skills to influence at all levels.
What will the role entail?
Working as part of the strategic sourcing team you will be aligned to a food and beverage category where you must help design and implement a procurement strategy across a multimillion pound spend. Addressing all areas of the procurement life cycle, you will be tasked with presenting tangible savings whilst improving stakeholder and supplier relationships. Working with the procurement division, you will be expected to align procurement strategies in order to present an efficient and uniform sourcing framework.
What skills and experience do I require?
To fit in with this award winning procurement team, you must come from a food and beverages background where you have in depth experience sourcing food ingredients. You will be degree educated with excellent communication skills and the commercial acumen to drive savings. You will have the ability to think outside the box and you won't be afraid to challenge stakeholders.
