Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Planning Consultancy with over 10 years planning experience on the appointment of a Senior Town Planner to join the small but experienced team.
My client have over 10 years experience in the South West and currently work on an array of projects across a number of exciting fields such as residential, industrial, commercial, leisure and retail.
Working in a team of 5, the successful Planner will have the opportunity to take on their own case load of projects as well as assisting the Director on major schemes.
Key Duties
-Research
-Planning appraisals
-Preparing and submitting planning applications
-S106 negotiations
-Preparing Representations
-Strategic site promotion and five-year land supply
-Co-ordinating external teams where required
-Maintaining client relationships
Job requirements
-RTPI accredited Planning degree or similar
-MRTPI
-5+ years planning experience (public or private however private sector experience is preferred)
-Confident communicator
-Project management experience
-Good working knowledge and breadth of experience of local, regional and national planning legislation.
