Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Project Manager as a permanent employee to join our team in Chiswick Park, West London. The successful candidate will have a specific focus in supporting the digital modernization and transformation projects globally. They will be responsible for supporting the overall planning and delivery of the digital program work streams, reporting, steering committee preparation, change management, risk mitigation and resolution. They will also support the workstreams regarding delivery of complex technical integration efforts, manage deliverables and interface with various internal business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, track and aggregate risks, issues, assumptions and co-dependencies between the different workstreams for the Business PMO.
  • Develop the steering board materials along with other Program updates intended for senior management
  • Ensure appropriate updates to the RAID log to include action items, decisions made, and ensuring effective follow up.
  • Support the change control process by ensuring appropriate scope management is maintained by the Business PMO.
  • Capture lessons learned and make recommendations for improvements and to ensure they are incorporated into the relevant process areas.
  • Construct, maintain and circulate the programs organizational chart.
  • Support the various work stream Project Managers as required.
  • Coordinate information flows within the program.
  • Manage the Sharepoint repository as a knowledgebase for the digital transformation and ensure it is kept up to date.
  • Liaise with the business to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables and to the agreed business objectives.
  • Identify, track, and close issues working with the respective team members in both infrastructure, development, and product teams.
  • Provide appropriate program support and reporting.
Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Experience working on digital products/projects
  • Previous experience working on digital transformation, information/ data architecture or content management projects
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment.
  • Previous experience working as a scrum master/agile coach (desirable)

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience supporting technical digital programs
  • Strong project/program management experience with strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Proven success managing multiple projects and programs concurrently with strong ability to access risks and provide contingency plan when applicable
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key Business and IT partners and stakeholders within a highly matrixed enterprise team
  • Strong business analyst skills, specifically with business and functional requirements development
  • Management of testing, user acceptance, and implementation processes
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products, highly proficient, MS Project, Visio, Sharepoint, Power Point, Excel
  • Familiarity and understanding of the agile development model.

Required Qualifications

  • PMP certification and MS Project Certification, strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, computer science or similar field a plus
