Role:- Part Time HR Advisor
Location :- Liverpool (L24 1YD)
Contract :- Permanent
Hrs :- Part Time (15 - 22.5hrs per week over 2-3 days)
Salary :- GBP11,996 - 17,994 p/yr
Purpose of the Role:-
Our client, a specialist in the design, manufacture and process development to the tool coating sector are seeking an experienced Part Time HR Advisor to work part time hours to support the HR Department with the day to day duties.
Responsibilities of the HR Advisor
* Advise and guide Managers and Staff in line with company policy and procedures including all aspects of Employee Relations, including Absence management; Discipline; Grievance; Remuneration; Recruitment; Performance management, and Employee engagement.
* Update and maintain company handbook to reflect incoming legislation, policy and best practice.
* Identify training needs for the business at organisational, team and individual level (including Management Development training needs).
* Audit Appraisals and performance reviews.
* Act as a contact point within the company for external training and government bodies.
* Maintain training records and filing system.
* Recommend remuneration levels within the company and communicate the annual pay range for pay rises to all staff.
* Prepare information for monthly payroll for monthly processing by Accounts team and ensure that all changes to pay and benefits are documented.
* Administer benefits scheme and provide advice on accessing these to staff.
* Co-ordinate the annual Staff Survey, taking action to make improvements.
* Support managers to create robust Job Descriptions and Person Specifications.
* Responsible for preparing a cost effective recruitment process, from advertising to supporting the interview process and on boarding successful candidates.
* Ensure all new employees receive a company Induction and six monthly review.
* Further develop use of the clocking system so that managers are kept updated regarding relevant people and management data e.g., attendance levels, time keeping and outstanding holidays.
The successful HR Advisor will have the following :-
* Must have previous experience working within a HR role.
* Knowledge of employment law/HR policies and practices.
* Ideally qualified CIPD
* Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, including Powerpoint.
* Confident at communicating at all levels within the business.
* Ability to prioritise workload with strong organisational skills.
* Must have a strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.
* High level of integrity
