Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Arborist to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of GBPcirca GBP30,000.
The Senior Arborist role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Climber to join the environmental services team, offering great benefits this is a role not to be missed. As a Lead Climber you would undertake pruning, dismantling and other hands on arboricultural work for the majority of the time.
Candidates should be NPTC qualified and competent climbing arborists with a good knowledge of all tree work operations and practices. In return they are offering a salary of circa GBP30,000 (16.48 per hour) - Negotiable for the right candidates. 35 hour week. Also 25 rising to 30 days paid annual leave, a GBP700 annual attendance payment, plus company contributory pension and training/CPD.
Knowledge/experience/skills required by the Senior Arborist:
- Proven experience in a tree services environment
- Proven ability to work in all weathers in an outdoor environment
- Demonstrable experience of leading a small team
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work at height
- Specialist technical knowledge of arboricultural practices
- Experience of using a wide range of equipment and tools
- Understanding of Health and Safety in the work place, with the ability to apply this with due regard whilst working in public areas
- Practical experience supported by the ability to develop and undertake training
- Ability to use all communication equipment.
Qualifications required of our Senior Arborist:
- Relevant qualifications or training in tree services and use of equipment
- NPTC units in the range of 30 to 39 as minimum (40/41 desirable)
- Current driving license ( C1e desirable )
