An opportunity has arisen with our client's business, a Fruit Farm who supply all customers including the major retailers. They are seeking a Farm Supervisor to be involved in all aspects of their fruit farm.
This is a busy farm and the role will report to the Owner and Farm Manager. The individual will be required to drive the farms tractors and have involvement with all aspects of the farm and harvest their fresh produce, which is mainly fruit. Suitable candidates will have a formal agricultural qualification and experience of farm management, ideally with a UK grown fruit crop. The role will involve all aspects of crop production through to harvest.
Requirements:
* Full driving license.
* formal agricultural qualification preferred
* Good spoken and written English
* PA1 / PA2 spraying certificate preferred
* Farming experience, ideally with Fruit
This role would suit an agricultural graduate, who has had work experience within this industry. Good communication and people skills are essential.
