We have a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to drive their career forwards and become a trainee bus driver. This role would suit someone that is in a customer service, retail, care, hospitality or driving role or with relevant experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

Interacting with customers and making sure they enjoy a safe, pleasant and comfortable journey
*
Ensuring the vehicle is driven safely at all times to the high company standards
*
Issuing tickets and collecting fares
Essential criteria:
*
Full clean license for those holding the license less than 2 years
*
6 or less penalty points on driving license
*
Must not have had a driving ban in the last 5 years
*
Must weigh less than 18 stone (114kg)
Desired skills
*
Previous customer service experience would be a distinct advantage
*
A basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations would also be an advantage
*
The ability to converse with people from different backgrounds
Benefits

Full-time, permanent job perspective.
*
Guarantee of 40 hours per week. average rota 44 hours per week.
*
GBP12.03 p/h, circa GBP27,500 p/a
*
Overtime available
*
Pay enhancements available
*
30 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
Full, paid training will be provided, including:
*
Training to obtain a PCV licence
*
Vehicle and route familiarisation
*
Ticket machine and ticket type training
*
Introduction to company/depot systems, procedures and policies
*
Periodic work related training throughout your career, maintaining a DQC.
Working week
*
Monday - Sunday. Weekly hours will also vary. Shifts TBC.
