The Academy is seeking to appoint a number of Intervention Teachers to provide support and guidance to students in English, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.

Intervention Teachers enable the Academy to offer timetabled support to individuals / small groups of students, where needed. In many cases, they will work with some of our most-able students, helping them to reach their full potential.

St George's Academy is an 11-18 mixed, specialist Maths and Computing Academy with outstanding facilities throughout. Our comprehensive school serves bright students aged 11 – 18 years old from Sleaford and the surrounding villages.

Ofsted graded the school as 'good' in every category in the latest inspection. St George’s examination results consistently exceed expectations, with a record breaking 99.5% pass rate at A Level.

Essential skills

  • Experience of working with children and young people in a teaching / instructing role
  • Previous experience of teaching in their subject area
  • Good standard of education with a teaching qualification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students
