A leading manufacturing company within the oil and gas industry are seeking an Electronic Engineer to join their permanent team in Leicester. Do you have previous experience of design and test for EMC? If so, then you may be the Electronic Engineer we are looking for.

What will you be doing?

As an Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for electronic design of pressure sensing components to be used in a wide range of industrial applications. You will also be responsible for Design Change Initiation and implementation in accordance with business procedures. As the Electronic Engineer, you will also review design specifications and have the ability to work across continents with remote engineering and sales teams.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering
  • Strong people and time management skills
  • Experience with PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
  • Experience of design and test for EMC
  • Proven ability in low power analogue and mixed signal circuit design and analysis, and ideally knowledge of digital protocols such as CAN, I2C, RS485 and MODbus
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and respond effectively to demanding customer requests
