Part Time Cleaner

£8.50 - £8.62 per hour.

A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.75 per hour.

Location: Radcliffe on Trent Junior School, Cropwell Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottingham, NG12 2FS.

Nottinghamshire County Council’s, Building Cleaning Service are looking to employ a new cleaner at Radcliffe-on-Trent Junior School.

The successful candidates will work as a team, to ensure that the highest standards of cleaning are achieved. Working times can be agreed on appointment but will be between the times of 3.15pm – 5.15pm Monday to Friday, working Term Time Only + a further 4 weeks during school holidays.

Wages will be equated so an equal payment is received each month. The successful candidates will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated area within the School.

Duties will include:

  • Vacuuming
  • Washroom Cleaning
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Dusting
  • Glass Cleaning.
  • (Occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up may be required).

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
