My client in the Bradford Area is looking for a Production Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
" To have an all round understanding of the Operations needs of the depot, including the Group H&S requirements.
" To have a good product knowledge and be able to work alone and as part of a team in order to achieve the Depots objectives.
Key Responsibilities
" Increase the overall accuracy of processing customer orders by ensuring correct delivery, specification, manufacturing times and price details entered.
" Improve internal communication within the Production dept and all other relevant Departments to ensure customer expectations are met and OTIF targets are achieved.
" Accurate pricing of Purchase Orders (be aware of margin implications).
" Consistent & professional approach to the entering of information on paperwork & following agreed procedures.
" Co-ordinate production capacity and purchasing with Production Manager.
" Control schedule for production.
Stock Control Systems & Stock awareness:
" Be aware of the negative stock implications of using codes with no stock showing.
" Ensure Purchase Orders, Stock Transfers and Work Orders are linked as a related document for all orders processes, where necessary.
" Reduce supplier invoice queries by ensuring correct prices are entered on supplier purchase orders.
" Assist with prompt payment objectives and reduced Debtor Days by responding to customer invoice queries or return requests promptly
General:
" Ensure you are being fully optimised at all times.
" Need to be flexible and cover any other duties, as requested, including over time, assisting in other areas.
" Perform any reasonable requests from the Production Manager, unless it compromises Health & Safety.
Human Resources:
" Ensure that you are adhering to Company polices and procedure, at all times. (See Company Disciplinary Procedure).
" Report any training requirements to your Manager.
" Check holiday availability with the Manager, prior to booking.
Health & Safety:
" Ensure that the Company H&S policy is being adhered to, at all times. (See Group H&S Policy Statement).
" Report any hazards or H&S issues arising to the Manager or complete the Hazard Spotting forms to be found on the H&S notice board. .
" Work in line with Safe Systems of Work.
" Ensure the highest levels of housekeeping at all times.
Environmental:
" Responsible for reporting any relevant environmental issues to the Manager and consider the environmental impact of actions we take.
" Ensure Works and Environmental Instructions are being adhered to, at all times.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. Hours of work 8am to 4 Monday to Friday.
