Digital technologies influence all aspects of our lives through an ever-growing collection of hardware, software, apps, websites and social networks which influence how we interact with each other and the world around us.
This role will promote the positive impact digital technologies can have on teaching, learning and assessment by identifying relevant opportunities across the whole curriculum and supporting their integration. With a focus on teaching and learning, the role will offer information, advice and guidance to staff and students on best practice use of technologies through a range of
delivery methods including face-to-face training and online support.
You will be joining a team responsible for delivering services, support, advice and guidance to staff and students on getting the best out of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
Maintaining an up-to-date skillset through proactive use of technology, in addition to delivering technical and frontline user support for relevant college systems including the virtual learning environment (Moodle), will help interpret and anticipate customer requirements and enable appropriate solutions to be identified.
