An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner / Caretaker to join our team based in Northampton.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the undertaking of duties relating to the clean and safe operation of the buildings and surrounding grounds. Reporting to a supervisor, you will clean the site facilities that are under your control in accordance with the cleaning specification; to include but not limited to cleaning of site communal areas, void clearance and public walkways.

Additionally, you will be required to complete minor maintenance works, complete emergency system testing and assist the site team as required.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role coupled with experience of dealing with the general public.

With a ‘can do’ attitude, you should be honest, reliable and trustworthy and will be able to cope and act positively when faced with challenges. Good written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language is also important and, due to the nature of the role, you should have a flexible approach to hours and tasks.

Candidates for this role will possess a full UK driving licence
