Assisting the manager in running the unit, being front of house especially at key service times, liaising with our client and customers, ensuring high standards of food safety and health and safety are met. Computer literacy important, full training on company systems provided.

As an Assistant Manager you thrive on getting the best out of people, you draw satisfaction from managing, training and supporting a team. You provide a professional catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
Assist the Manager in ensuring that the location achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
Work with the manager to monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information.
Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and that their food service and value expectations are consistently exceeded.
Conduct Food Safety, Health and Safety and Risk Assessments to ensure that all standards and procedures in respect of Hygiene and Safety are established and maintained
As the Assistant Manager you will have experience in a supervisory or assistant management role ideally in contract catering/hospitality/retail catering and be degree educated or equivalent. You use your entrepreneurial skills to create a thriving and successful working environment, possess excellent management and communication skills, and have a good understanding of report writing and financial management. You will be able to demonstrate you analytical approach to problem solving and have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and be financially and commercially astute.
